i noticed that musicians think they are doing wat they need to do
by just making music.. yeap no doubt that is, but how about just supporting?

we have bunch of ppl doing or organising great activities, they are the real
activists and.. we as musicians, just support, attending, participating
is actually good enough... i know, musician is no good at other than
making music kekeke but give our physical support is wat we need
isnt it? activist needs our music to spread ideas and musician needs
activist to be their best listeners cos activist are the group who
empathy real music.

my two cents :P

i think deep down. most gig goers would support activism if they knew about it. if the scene was big enough and especially warm enough. when it reaches that stage, it would be a good time to start distributing leaflets to anybody that comes

ya got wat u mean too.
but i mostly pointing punk rockers and hardcore punkers..
the rest of the other musicians are not the political criticizing
type.. so i dont have any doubts or never expect them to support
activism.. but those who show attitude to the so called system
or anti fascism, y not diverse their energy to the true problems
rather than rebelling the innocents or disrespecting minor rules for the benefit of the own diy ppl?
i mean, my experience was, i even get shits when just ask those dude not to smoke inside the hall for the sake of the crowd.. thats call punk? thats call anti authority? thats call anarchy? they are brave against the no smoking rule but afraid to participate in activism?
freedom? wats freedom without responsibility? that'll be barbarian not intelligence....

Good day guys and girls & all beloved Indiegoat readers...
Hmmm...there must be a reason why the six bands did
not turn out...
Because truth is, from the aspect of common sense,
thing do not happen without a reason...
I will come back again...
Got several important things to do...

oi. pasai?

tak lah. nanti bermetal kat sana, polis kan revisit black metal issue and launch operasi lalat hitam and send all the rockers to kamunting

you must admit that most of us rebels are only skin deep. the country's media has promoted 'borrowed' culture for so long now, what majority of people would consider a piece of music to be good only if it's been endorsed widely by others. through years of nuturing a PROGRAMED perception of culture, you can not really blame people.

people can be part of one sub-culture and switch to another like how we flip through tv channels now.

like, alot of people would rather listen to music through their headphones Radio than to listen to it live leading to zero social interaction and no hometown pride. This is a broad issue and no use pin-pointing. All im saying is that, reason people enjoy music now has run out of its initial social aspect.
