The initial idea for this gig was actually from a lepak talk of Edd (Weot Skam) and me talking about what’s been happening to the Penang bands.

Think back the old days at the Actor Studio when the label Soundmaker newly formed and at it’s prime time making great gigs. Tons of bands from the island it self could make a whole Bandfest happening. But why nowadays we have to get whole bunch of bands from KL just to make a gig happen? Aren’t we have enough bands here?

The answer is obviously YES. We were counting and counting naming few bands that we can remember… and the numbers were in fact, shocking! We can easily come up with more than 20 bands, and only bands that are sort of close to us, not yet including the punks and a lot more metal heads out there by just looking at the previous gig posters!

So we’ve decided to put up a gig just for the northerners, have a ‘knock’ to our very local scene here and let everyone have a chance to meet each others again at the stage!
